Studyond Wins the GenAI Zurich Award 2026

Studyond has been named Winner of the GenAI Zurich Award 2026 in the category Impact Achievers for its work on GenAI-powered infrastructure for academia–industry collaboration.

The award recognizes Studyond as a leading example of how Generative AI can be applied responsibly in real-world environments to create measurable value across academia, industry, and society.

Unlike many experimental AI applications, Studyond has built a live, production-grade platform that already enables students, universities, and companies to collaborate more effectively on research, innovation, and knowledge transfer.

“This recognition is a strong signal that Generative AI can do much more than automate isolated workflows. It can help build the infrastructure for long-term innovation and societal impact,”
said Philipp Wetzel, CEO of Studyond AG.

For the team, the award is also a recognition of a broader mission: using AI not for hype, but for responsible, scalable, and meaningful innovation.
