Welcome to Studyond! Studyond is a joint initiative of Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, and leading business and industry associations. We connect students, lecturers, and experts for collaborative seminars, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral projects. The platform (https://studyond.com) is developed and operated by Studyond AG, a Swiss company headquartered at Zürcherstrasse 45, 9000 St. Gallen.
Scope
These Terms of Use apply exclusively to the free use of the Studyond platform («Platform») by company employees as experts, university staff as supervisors of academic projects, and students. Using the platform does not establish a business relationship between the user and Studyond AG («Studyond»).
Registration and Use
The use of the platform requires the creation of a free user account. By registering, the user agrees to these Terms of Use.
The use of the platform is limited to persons at least 18 years old.
The platform's use is limited to facilitating connections between students, industry experts, and academic supervisors to collaborate on a relevant and significant scientific project or study. Any party can propose topics, either by posting on the platform or as part of an application process. Any commercial use or use for purposes other than those intended is prohibited.
Intellectual Property
All rights to the platform, including copyrights and trademark rights, remain with Studyond or the respective rights holders. Use of the platform does not grant ownership or any other claims to the content of the platform.
Content on the platform may only be used for private purposes. It is prohibited to reproduce, publish, or otherwise use platform content without the express written consent of Studyond.
Disclaimer of Liability
Studyond provides the platform free of charge and without warranty. Use of the platform is at the user's own risk. Studyond assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the content.
To the extent permitted by law, Studyond is not liable for direct or indirect damages, including consequential damages, arising from the use of the platform.
Data Protection
Studyond processes users' personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Its Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Use, provides further information.
Modifications
Studyond reserves the right to further develop the platform at its discretion and to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be appropriately communicated to users. By continuing to use the platform, the user agrees to the amended terms.
