Emil Frey move Becomes Studyond's Official Mobility Partner
Studyond has a new partner – and this one comes with wheels. Since October 2026, Emil Frey move has been Studyond's official mobility partner.
When you're connecting companies with students at more than 20 Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences, you're rarely in one place for long. A workshop in St. Gallen, a partner meeting in Zurich, an event in Geneva – sometimes all in the same week. Recently, we've been making these trips in a blue BMW X1 through Emil Frey move's car subscription service, complete with Studyond branding that's hard to miss.
But the car is only the most visible part of the partnership. What's even more exciting is what could come out of it. Emil Frey has been shaping mobility in Switzerland for over 100 years and is navigating a period of transformation driven by electrification, new subscription models and changing customer needs.
These developments offer exciting opportunities for student research projects and for engaging with the people who will help shape and experience the future of mobility: young talent at universities and universities of applied sciences.
What Emil Frey move Has to Say
"The people who come together through Studyond will shape mobility over the coming decades – as customers, professionals and perhaps even founders. We want to start conversations with them early on, not just when they're looking for their first car. And along the way, the Studyond team demonstrates every day just how flexible a car subscription can be in practice."

The First Kilometres
The X1 has already covered its first kilometres. In early October, it made an appearance at the EPFL Forum in Lausanne, where we met students, companies and university partners. Just a few days later, it took us to the shores of Lake Geneva for the MITdesignX Le Rosey Impact Accelerator workshop weekend in Rolle.
The next stops are already planned. Follow our social media channels to find out where the blue X1 will turn up next. And if you spot it on the road, feel free to give us a wave. 🙂
