Speed meets careers: Race & Connect with Bosch
Together with Bosch Switzerland, Studyond hosted a unique “Race & Connect” event at Racing Unleashed, bringing together 40 selected students from ETH Zurich, the University of St.Gallen and the University of Zurich. The event combined career insights with an interactive racing experience, offering participants a dynamic and engaging format to connect with industry professionals.
The initiative reflects Studyond’s mission to create environments where students do not only learn about career opportunities but actively experience them through direct interaction, practical exposure, and meaningful dialogue.
The evening began with keynote contributions from Bosch representatives, who shared personal career journeys and insights into the company’s culture and opportunities:
- Rogelio Humberto Michel, Managing Director of Bosch Rexroth Switzerland, on his transition from engineering to leadership
- Luca Francucci, Country Market Manager, on career development within Bosch
- Jan Schindler, Junior Managers Program, on early career pathways and application insights
- Maximilian Repple, Talent Acquisition Partner Switzerland, on Bosch’s heritage and innovation culture
- Sandro Francescutto, Head of Garage Equipment Switzerland and former Head of Automotive Switzerland, on transformation in the automotive sector
Following the keynote session, participants engaged in a sim racing experience, competing for the fastest lap while experiencing teamwork, focus, and performance under pressure. The interactive setting created a natural environment for exchange, allowing students and professionals to connect in an informal yet meaningful way.
Beyond the competition, the event was marked by open conversations, curiosity and a high level of engagement from all participants. It demonstrated how experiential formats can foster authentic connections between talent and industry.
